Once a record shop owner, specializing in Disco imports, Patrick Busschots was complaining that all the labels were forgetting about the vintage classics and he decided to establish the Antwerp Record Society, which became one of the leading dance labels in Europe and still has its headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium.
