Netherlands based label PTG / Vinyl Masterpiece have released a great followup to the Nighttime Lovers series. In fact I liked this one even more than the first because of the song selection.

The first song that you are treated to is the overlooked, but stellar track Let Me Show You by Larry Wu. This was a US production by Tony Carbone that was never pushed by Atlantic Records here in the States despite it receiving a good buzz in the UK. Its inclusion as the first track on this CD already tells you this is going to be great.

The Candela track, Love You Madly appears here for what I believe is the first time on CD. A killer track that originally appeared on Arista. The rest of the CD is of high quality except for the last track, which was obviously taken from a worn vinyl copy.

All in all, if you are a fan of '80s dance music then you owe it to yourself to pick up Nighttime Lovers Volume 2 as it is a solid release.
