A big package of CDs and vinyl just arrived at our doorstep from Europe. A new record label / distributor out of the Netherlands, Vinyl Masterpiece along with Fonte Records, is re-releasing rare Disco, Dance, and Funk material on deluxe CDs. One group they have taken a special liking to is the B. B. & Q. Band, which was produced by the late Jacques Fred Petrus. Even in their heyday the BB and Q vinyl releases on Capitol Records were few and far in between so to have them on CD is extra special.
"All Night Long" is the second BB & Q album that Vinyl Masterpiece has released in very limited quantities and in a slick digipak case. Hearing tracks like "Imagination and "Hard To Get Around" again after so many years is a real treat. This is an absolute "must have" for fans of Jacques Fred Petrus and the B.B. and Q. Band.
This is a limited edition B.B. and Q. Band release and is available directly through the Vinyl Masterpiece website.

Jan 03, 09 | 6:47 amThis band were certainly better than Change , if it were not for Luther Vandross singing on lovers holiday and searching , this is superior to six million times by a mile ,Every track is good , a rarity for the time,Saw them live , could not believe how terrible the crowd were in luton at the time,1984,
Change for some reason were more popular live with tunes like change of heart,I will never understand Interesting reading about the history of the bands with Jacque Fred Petrus who came to an untimely end, you could hear the change sound even then, larry levan was playing Angel in your pocket in 1979 at his club, what an era!

Mar 28, 05 | 4:06 amI can really recommend buying this cd. I bought this and the other two "Six million times" and "The BB&Q Band". Nice package and great to have on cd!
Adam

I wish they'd just put 2 complete albums on one CD, there's certainly room. As for the posting here that states the BBandQ band is "better than Change", the two groups are basically the same with different names.
