NOTES:

As the title says: Groove On Down - 12 Full Length and Rare Disco / Boogie Cuts - A collection of full-length rare disco/boogie cuts - Generally in a similar vein to BBE's "Disco Spectrum" series, mostly leaning towards the R&B/Funk side of disco.

Overall some pretty good as well as some pretty derivative material on here. Some of the good ones include "Standing Right Here" by Melba Moore, "Show You My Love" by Goldie Alexander, Dunn Pearson's title track "Groove On Down," and "I Like What You're Doin' To Me" by Young and Co. to name a few...

Generally good sound quality and good liner notes for each of the tracks. If you liked any volumes in the Disco Spectrum series, then you'll probably like this one too.

All in all this compilation is nice but I found the sound quality very lacking on a few tracks. This is mostly concerning the Vaughan Mason track as well as the title by Young & Co (just listen to the beginning of each song).
