Volume 2 of Warner's excellent Disco Connection series. Picks up where number one left off with great Disco tracks and a no-brainer MUST HAVE!
It appears that all tracks are the hard to find 12 inch extended versions. What is interesting is that "That's Where The Happy People Go" by The Trammps clocks in on this CD at 7:51 with an intro I don't have on the original vinyl 12 inch, which only clocks in at 5:24. A nice bonus indeed.

Aug 21, 08 | 7:56 amAt first, somewhat of a letdown after the superb Vol.1,mainly being that this has some more "well known"disco material (i.e. Sister Sledge"He's The Greatest Dancer",Chic's "Everbody Dance") that you already own.But this is forgiven by ,again, another slew of disco songs I've never heard before!Unforunately,it looks like this is the end of the road for this superb series as I have been anxiously waiting for vol. 3 since 2004.

Aug 08, 04 | 1:31 pmWell Warner Bros. have done it again with a perfect Cd featuring remastered classics. Volume 1 was flawless (except maybe the album version of Phreek's 'Weekend' and album version of Deodato's 'Whistle Bump' rather then the 12" cuts) but a perfect CD despite the fact. Volume 2 is another gem indeed. Only question is the use of the edited version of Chic'c 'Everybody Dance,' where the 12" clocks at 8:25. Get this album!!!

The photo shows Diana Ross (at Studio 54 with Steve Rubell and the d.j. Richie Kaczor) but the cd doesn't feature any of her songs!
