Producer Leon Sylvers III, the late bassist Wayne Brathwaite and others take vocalist Glenn Jones on an R & B musical quest along the lines of the '80s sound of Solar Records, Kashif, Luther Vandross... Uptempo and ballads round out this nicely done album.
The album Finesse was originally releases on Columbia Records back in 1984 and the gang at Funky Town Grooves secured the rights to reissue this on CD from the original master tapes. Liner notes and full credits are included. This will appeal to music collectors that are looking to fill holes in their '80s R & B dance collections.
