Disco Discharge: Diggin' Deeper oozes killer comp just by one scanning the tracklisting on the back of this double CD which as the title suggests, digs deeper than your average Disco compilation. Now these are not unknown or second-rate songs just resurrected to impress your DJ friends. These are hard-to-find Disco tracks from as early as the beautiful I'm In Heaven by Passaic, New Jersey's, Touch of Class released in 1974 as a rare promotional 12 inch single for select DJs all the way up to the wildly popular 1979 Vanguard Record's Savage Lover by The Ring that is hard to come by in digital form.
This is an absolutely essential double CD Disco compilation and one that will go for big money once it goes out of print and everyone tries to snag a copy. Do yourself a big favor and buy this one today as the selection and quality of tracks is top notch in every respect.

Jul 24, 10 | 5:09 amI bought this collection from Amazon UK and there are 20 tracks but there are 6 different tracks from the CD collection. The first two tracks from the CD are missing and two others are Let's Lovedance Tonight by Gary's Gang and the 11 minute version of Don't Leave Me This Way by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes. No idea why unless licencing is different for CDs and Digital releases.
toto

Thanks for the info toto, in the past I've noticed differences in tracklistings between the CD and MP3 editions of other releases. Most notably that many MP3 versions of the album omit certain tracks, which is why I always opt to buy the physical CD.
