Disco Discharge is a new compact disc compilation of extended classic Disco from Harmless Music/Demon Music out of the U.K. The first volume in this series is subtitled Classic Disco and is a two-disc set with extensive liner notes by Alan Jones who along with Jussi Kantonen, co-wrote the highly acclaimed book, Saturday Night Forever.

Disco Discharge - Classic Disco features some outstanding tracks in extended 12 inch form and helps to trace Disco music's path from the early 1970s right up through the 1980s. Included is even an rarely heard 1982 track by Boris Midney's studio group USA-European Connection, the full version of Makes You Blind by The Glitter Band and lots more. A true collection for Disco connoisseurs! Highly recommended.
