Before Brenda K. Starr became known for her Salsa albums, she started out in the mid 1980s doing Freestyle tracks and ballads when she was only a teenager. If you enjoyed the sounds of Shannon or Lisa-Lisa and the Cult Jam or Alisha, then this release is right up your alley.

The reissue specialist label, Funky Town Grooves out of the U.K. has released Brenda's 1985 album I Want Your Love with bonus 12 inch mixes.
