RuPaul produced this compilation and surprisingly - it also serves as a great disco/dance/funk collection. The project came to life because RuPaul used to be a go-go dancer at a club in Atlanta. Every night for four hours - Ru would shimmy and shake to his favorite 1970s and 1980s dance tracks. Some of them are gathered here.

The interesting liner notes (by Ru) are fun to read and you learn that ARETHA's ROCK-A-LOTT is featured here because the track was left off her 1994 greatest hits or NATALIE COLE's PARTY LIGHTS (Live) is a staple among lip-synching drag-queens!

RuPaul also teams up with Martha Wash to record a cover version of IT'S RAINING MEN.
