1981 was such a good year as far as dance music is concerned.

This compilation offers only the very best.The Montreal brigade is well represented with GINO SOCCIO,FRANCE JOLI and LIME.You also get new wave acts trying their hands at rap and salsa.

I could complain about the very short versions used at times (clocking in at a meager 56'38) but the inclusion of the 10 minutes "special disco mix" of RAPTURE more than makes up for it.
