The outstanding Remember the Troc Party reunion parties continue and so do the limited edition commemorative CD from DJ Jerry Bonham, this time entitled Remember the Red Party which occurred October 12, 2008. This collection is on par if not better than the previous editions and is a MUST for Disco music fans!

Renowned DiscoMusic.com member and DJ, Jussi Kantonen had this to say about Remember the Red Party 2008:

The cd boxes - listening to them are rare, religious experiences. This new one contained probably the most rapturous moments ever - apart from the Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes going into Love Unlimited Ork of the 2007 edition of course, I don't think I'll ever hear anything as perfect in my lifetime. Talking about the bit with the big romantic classics like Romeo & Juliet of course.

Still, for me, what really impressed in another, unexpected way was the stuff people call rock disco here at discomusic.com, what some others call cosmic. The most boring thing in dance music history, the instrumental section of "Cruising The Streets," was now transformed into an amazing groove. Chilly, Yoko, I always sort of thought hmmm... they're okay, but not that wonderful. Hearing something you never appreciated a lot turned into something more than wonderful makes you once again realise there was a genius at work. Must have been too exciting for words to dance to.
