Instead it focuses on the earlier funkier Disco sound that emanated from Italian pioneers such as Claudio Simonetti, La Bionda, Stefano Pulga...
Disco Italia is the missing link when it comes to discovering the sound of Italian Disco. A nicely done compilation that brings together a varied palette of sounds. Certainly worth further investigation as most of these tracks have never appeared in digital form before.

I love the underground nature of this one.Not the typical stuff we associate with Italian disco.
The Five Letters opener reminds me of Leon Haywood's "Don't push it,don't force it...",you'll also find a great 5'39 edit of Kano's "Now baby now" and the Chic-like "Dreaming" by Raibow Team are only a few of the gems featured here.
Never thought I'd find Revanche's "1979 It's dancing time" on CD in 2008 !!!

the entire Revanche CD "Music Man" has been available on CD for quite some time as one of the "Box Set of Malavasi/Petrus Productions".
