After suffering so much disappointment in trying to find cd-releases of the 12" versions of songs from this era, "First Choice Greatest Hits" was a refreshing surprise. The cover art chosen was from their album "Delusions." I'd played that album over and over so many times I bought another. To my delight, the "Greatest Hits" album contains the 12" mixes of "Dr. Love," (an all-time fave) and the others you see above. (Sorry, Bernie, the version of "Love Thang" on cut one of Disc 2 is the 12" mix -- please redact)
The liner notes contain a lot of interesting notes about this, sadly, short-lived yet very talented group. (A change from the typically very brief credits given on disco compilations). Add to all of these goodies the fact that it really was quite a bargain (but engineering/sound quality was very, very good) and I give it five stars!
