CD REVIEW & COLLECTOR NOTES
Jacques Fred Petrus and company present the first Change album now on CD. This album is perfect from beginning to end. And speaking of "the end," you must check out that very Moroderesque instrumental track!

Often recalled as 'the poor man's Chic', Change made some great records, with this one, their debut, being the absolute best. Starting with their best known song, A Lover's Holiday, it sets the mood for the rest of the album, classic disco with hints of electronica, later more developed on the last track, 'The End'. Sassy girls could look up to a pair of numbers, 'It's a Girls Affair' (appearently a party of girls only, dancing in their underwear) and 'Angel In My Pocket'. This album is better known, not much for its songs, but for the premiere apearence of the great Luther Vandross, singing lead in the legendary title track and another cult hit 'Searching'. Although the quality of Change's albums were downhill slowly, this album is incredibly worthy of any recognition.
