In a career spanning over 35 years and beginning with recordings in the 1960s for Miami music legend Henry Stone, the gems on this CD were cut on the Dade label long before Benny' success on the Glades/T.K. label. These early recordings for Dade are solid deep soul, graced by Latimore's deep sultry voice.
