YOUR THOUGHTS & COMMENTS
More, More, More was the only hit the Andrea True Connection ever had.
Actually, "New York You Got Me Dancing" was a Top 30 Billboard single, and although I loved "More More More," I thought "N.Y." was pretty cool. Hope Andrea's still not working in the film biz. (She'd be, what, 52?)
1976 - More, More, More | Pop Albums #47
1977 - What's Your Name, What's Your Number|Club Play Singles #9
1977 - New York, You Got Me Dancing | Club Play Singles #4
As seem on Bilboard.com
And I heard and love : Fill me Up (Heart to heart), Keep it up Longer, It's all up to you.
We still feel a little bugged about the single "steal my sunshine" by Len since they took the break hook from 'more, more, more'. She did pass away a year ago or so....
She isnt Dead, she was on Vh1's One Hit Wonders: Disco Divas last year!
More More More, peaked at no. 4 on American Charts and no. 1 on world charts
N.Y. You Got Me Dancing peaked at #28
Call Me was a hit
No one here said she was dead. Where did you see that?
What's Your Name, What's Your Number was a song that I really loved!
More, More, More was the biggest hit!
Andrea True was truly an unlikely Disco artist!
why is Andrea True Connection considered an "unlikely artist"? She was probably the PERFECT artist for that era--anything was going, and in Andrea's case, everything went! She made some GREAT records, man!!
She is considered an "unlikely artist" because she "can't sing a note". Her recordings were all "enhanced" by adding an additional voice(s) to cover up her real voice. The success of her recordings can be attributed to the talent of the composers/producers.
Regarding her age, she was 35+ when recording More, More, More in 1976.
Listen guys, ANDREA TRUE was a porn star in the late sixties/ By the time she was fronting for Gregg Diamond, she was closer to 43 years old. She is not dead, but still alive somewhere with her hand wrapped around something nice and hard. Only instead of a p**** or a microphone, it is a walker! She really wasn't all that everyone says she was. Not very talented in xxx movies or as a singer. But Greg Diamond made her marketable. It is that simple.
