Pretty weird...not exactly disco, but not sure what it WAS. Throwaway b-side that developed a cult following. I still have the 45 'cuz it's so strange.

Not really disco but very uptempo and danceable.
I remember as a kid having to sing songs from the A side of IZITSO at summer camp.

The "Was DOG A Doughnut" on the B side would rock as a B-boy classic some years later when I made it to high school.

Might also be considered one of the first stabs at electronica as the track is accompannied by a rarely used(in recordings) drum machine thru out.

Was Dog A Doughnut was my favorite "cool out" tune!

Jellybean covered it, but the original by the "Cat Man" was grand!

Cat Stevens was one of my favorite artists in the very early seventies. But I think that, get on the PEACE TRAIN was closer to DISCO than anything he ever released. Today the CAT is somewhere in AUSTRALIA smoking weed with his DINGO dogs!!
