This was some 300-pound Greek guy who sang in a teeny little voice and was a huge star in Europe and the UK...never broke through here. Kind of like a combination of Ruben Studdard and the guy from the Communards.
Oh, I remember Demis Roussos. He is famous in Argentina because when he was there he coughed during his performance, what made obvious that he was lip-synching, and the crowd booed him.
