Disco Dolly. Those country crossover guys never gave up, but never got it, either. Of course, even tripe like this sounds more "country" than Shania Twain does today.
I LOVED THIS RECORD!!! I played it at the clubs I worked at because it was such a fun (and silly) song that people always seemed to enjoy. And I must admit I was in love with the PINK 12' wax!!!!! And strangley enough, the B0side did pretty well for me also ("I Wanna Fall In Love")
I LOVED this song, too -- and I agree that Shania Twain should be banned from singing, what with her "in your face" attitude and her Michael Jackson yelps. :)
Unlikely artist? Most definitely. the Red Necks down here in Miami loved this song. I didn't. did play it once in a BLUE MOON! Or in Dolly's case two moons!
