Another one of those big cheesy crooners who caught an easy update. Pretty much by the numbers, but catchy...I think was Big Al's last hit.
In 1976 Al Martino also scored a second club hit with his disco version of the old standard "The more I see you".
VOLARE was a huge hit. A standard for a good six months. A true PRIMETIME hit. Always in the middle of your strongest set. Needed a remix, but if you had two copies, you made your own extended remix version, like used to do. HUSTLE music to death! A DISCO CLASSIC! On my scale from 1-10 this record gets a strong 7.
