"Street player" cannot be mentioned in the UK (and probably Europe) without also mentioning Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez's "The bomb (these sounds fall into my mind)" which was a huge huge club hit in 1995.
This song sampled Street player extensively, as well as misquoting the song's lyrics in its title (should be "Street sounds swirling through my mind"?)
Chicago was truly a "Street Player"!
the 12" ver. of this song is hard to find but excellent! streetplayer is excellent
