YOUR THOUGHTS & COMMENTS

"I Got You Babe" is a total classic.

Remember the album cover for "Take Me Home"? She was wearing some kind of metallic brassiere and...antlers, I think. I don't think she included this one in her farewell tour playlist. (Antlers?)

Of course we now have to add her newer material, especially "Believe" which is her most successful song EVER as well as one of the biggest dance songs of the 2000s.

What about Bad Love from the Foxes soundtrack?Sounded disco to me!

Cher's good 1998 disco single "Strong Enough" managed to get into the Number One position on the Billboard Dance/Club chart in May 1999. It got some airplay on the radio too but didn't get the same attention as "Believe" so it only ended up at Number 57 Pop in the States, but did get to the respectable Number 5 Pop slot in the U.K. She frequently sang "Strong Enough" in concert in the following years.

Take Me Home - Disco Classic!

I liked it!

Others may differ!

the 12" single of take me home is a disco classic! Bad Love from the foxes soundtrack was overshadowed by donna summers hit on the radio ..... bad love was disco!...not a bad tune either...just overlooked

I love "Wasn't It Good?" from the "Take Me Home" album. I think it's as good as the title track but it didn't get as much attention. I thought "Bad Love" probably would have been a bigger hit if that "Foxes" soundtrack was easier to find...

i agree the foxes soundtrack was hard to come by in 1980 as well as today. maybe because the movie wasn't such a big hit! i know many will not agree but i think the entire take me home album is good! in it's time it was overshadowed by many bigger artists, like donna summer....somebody correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't Take me home the ONLY album cher did for casablanca??? everybody even today remembers that album cover! it's funny because i still feel it's an excellent album, that i believe was a one shot deal for casablanca.

An UNLIKELY ARTIST?? No, she did what was expected, jumped on the bandwagon and laughed all the way to the bank.
