YOUR THOUGHTS & COMMENTS
Really liked Benson's whole body of work from '76 to '81, ultra-commercial and slick, but extremely pleasant. His version of "Cast Your Fate To The Wind" is especially tasty.
Listen to the Album- Livin' inside your love...
the song "LOVE BALLAD" Nice mellow DISCO TUNE...His First...From 79'
George Benson provided the "Jazz" in Soulful Disco!
the Give me the night album was an excellent disco/jazz album i never get tired of hearing it benson is a first class artist the Give me the night album is a good mellow disco album got lot's of airplay in 1980
The song Turn Your Love Around is also notable, even if it is not technically disco. A good cross of disco with jazz and soul.
Benson sounds to me like jazz-funk, and eccelent
