YOUR THOUGHTS & COMMENTS
This band (Average White Band) is one of my favourites. Although they are a soul / R&B band, they recorded an album called 'Shine' in 1980, which is very disco. It was only edited in Japan, so it's hard to find. But it's worth it!
When I first heard this song, it was a cover by Yell (1990?)PWL remixed. Didn't know the original was AWB back then..
Oh yeah, I love this song I've got the album version on cd ... but I know there was a longer version.Which isn't easy to find on cd.Lots of memories... this song takes me back.
Not too unlikely, after all they were a funk/R&B band. It isn't too long a stretch to be DISCO. PICK UP THE PIECES wasn't the only song though. There was another one on that album, just can't remember its title anymore, too many burned brain cells!
