YOUR COMMENTS ON Edwin Starr

"Contact" was a killer song, killer hook. E-Starr was a born disco shouter, and his mid-70's stuff was ultra cool. "War" is all folks remember, and it was a great single, but man, these two cuts were close to perfection.

Another early club hit record was "Running back and forth" off the 1972 "War" Lp, this cut is listed at number 272 on the Disc-o- la Fortune 500 Discotheque hits of the 70's.
