YOUR COMMENTS ON Grace Jones
TRIVIA: Grace threw ashtrays at overly fresh fans in the bar of New Orleans' Parade disco after preforming there about '81.
She came rolling out on stage wearing nothing but panties singing her statement song "Demolition Man" which was great. The evening was splendid, she consistently shocked everyone, I remember she performed the Tom Petty cover "Breakdown" in which she threw herself at the audience, biting and even beating people over the head... what an evening I had.
First of all, look-a-likes were on the stage yet one of them was Grace Jones.
Pull Up To The Bumper and Feel Up were among the songs performed that night!
Gotta have Grace In Your Face!
By the way:
I'm proud to own a rare white label of Hurricane I got from VinylMania in New York about 98 or 99. It was a classic Twilo/Junior Vasquez hit for a while. The story I heard was that she cut it, hated it and never released it.
