YOUR COMMENTS ON Andy Gibb

No disrespect intended (R.I.P., A.G.) but I thought most of little brother's work was pretty weak. Back then, we were buying anything with the Gibb name.

I disagree with hi-hat. I think that even though Andy's voice was weaker than his brothers' he had beautiful songs (his best songs are the ones written with his brothers, though) Examples are Shadow Dancing and I just want to be your everything.

Desire is also a great song with an uptempo beat.

Then he sang "Dream Dream Dream" with Victoria Principal (of Dallas fame) anyone remember that?...........

Actually, although all of the Gibb brothers are highly talented, Andy had a talent that none could match. He had a way of, not only singing the song, but projecting feeling into it. You could feel the emotion while listening to it. His best songs are the ones he wrote himself, and anyone who prefers the "top 40" hits written by Barry, is someone whom believes that what is best is what they are TOLD is best.

i was a teenager when andy gibb came out i still have all his records, his music was from a more innocent, carefree time, i don't consider him an unlikely disco artist he just came out during the disco era and being a gibb he got tagged with the disco label, i'm sorry he never achieved the mega stardom his brothers did !! andy's music stands on it's own as some good work!

I agree that some of Andy's best songs were those he wrote himself.Words and Music is a beautiful song about innocent, sweet, true love.Something a person of any age can listen too.Not like the x-rated,violent stuff that's out today.Luv you forever Andy & thank you for your music.

VERY LIKELY, his brothers were the BEE GEES! The ambassadors of DISCO. It was a natural progression that ANDY would eventually be DISCO> Just too bad he wasn't around longer!
