YOUR COMMENTS ON Beach Boys

Heard it once...this is really a case of jumping on the Disco "money making" wagon of that time

This one is almost universally reviled, but I really liked it. The 12-inch mix was something like eight or nine minutes long. A throwaway for them, but I thought it worked.

Say what you will, but I think the song is Hot! Especially the instrumental side, I rock it at a party every chance I get. And remember it was Bruce Johnston who did Pipeline, and that is a classic in anybody's book.

Here is a VERY "Unlikely Artist". Who would have guessed that THE BEACH BOYS would jump on the DISCO bandwagon. I do believe that after many years out of the publics ear, they were desperate to have a hit, and actually put forth a lot of effort to come up with a DISCO CLASSIC. This was a very BIG song. Heard and played everywhere. A far cry from ANYTHING they had ever done before, So they are the definition of an UNLIKELY ARTIST!
