YOUR COMMENTS ON Frankie Avalon

Now I liked Frankie's update of "Venus," although I can't really explain why. I guess because he was such an artificial creation to begin with, he didn't really have any credibility to LOSE.

In 1976-77 VENUS was everywhere in the New York Metropolitan area. The radio stations played it every hour, so if you switched stations often enough, you'd hear it six or seven times an hour. No Bull! It was played on EVERY STATION ON AM AND FM!! Then there were the House Parties!! All the mobile Dee Jays would play it two or three times as well. If the Dee Jay in whatever DISCO you were at didn't play it, he sucked!! Hating on this song today or FRANKIE is irreverent. When this song was out there, it was excellent DISCO MUSIC at the time. Today's analysts don't really matter, do they?
